Policy statement

Founded in 1927 by the architect and interior designer Henry van de Velde, the École nationale supérieure des arts visuels de La Cambre (ENSAV) is organised by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It is one of the leading art and design schools in Belgium. It has around 850 students in 20 departments covering all fields of plastic, visual and spatial arts.

Studies are organised over 5 years (Bachelor and Master).

Since its foundation, La Cambre has been committed to a policy of openness to society and the world, supporting the many opportunities offered by successive programmes such as student, teacher and staff mobility and intra-European cooperation initiatives.

La Cambre contributes to the creation of the European Higher Education Area through the development of innovative teaching methods and by ensuring equality, inclusion, diversity and equity in all its activities.
