Publication Territoires tissés

This publication reports on the ‘Territoires tissés’ project, a collaboration between AVPTTA (Association pour la Valorisation et la Promotion du Tissage Traditionnel d'Abomey) in Benin, the Textile Design, Industrial Design and Interior Architecture workshops at ENSAV La Cambre, and EPA (Ecole du Patrimoine africain) in Porto Novo, which took place between 2019 and 2024.

This work explored the cultural, technical, heritage and creative values offered by the context of the workshops in King Agonglo's palace, questioning creation and craftsmanship as a meeting place, a lever for emancipation and learning for all the participants.

Project funded by Wallonie Bruxelles Internationale, with the support of the Académie de recherche et d'enseignement supérieur de la Fédération-Wallonie-Bruxelles.
